About
“Dr. Angela” research focuses on double stranded, self-complementary, Adeno-Associated virus (scAAV) to deliver an antisickling globin to hematopoietic stem cells as curative therapy for Sickle Cell Disease. This work is funded by K01 from NIHLBI. She is a founding member of CASIRE(Consortium for the advancement of Sickle Cell Research), a clinical research group.
